Top 10 Favorite Restaurants in Ann Arbor

1. Madras Masala - 328 Maynard Street
They have the best Indian food that I have ever had. Be sure to try their Indo-chinese items.

2. Cafe Habana - 211 E. Washington
May or may not be authentic Cuban food, but either way it is delicious.

3. Cafe Zola - 112 W. Washington
Yummy brunch, though a bit pricey.

4. Metzger’s - 305 North Zeeb Road
They make the best German pancakes I have ever had. Their spätzle is not quite as good as my Mom’s, but it makes a nice substitute.

5. Shalimar - 307 S. Main Street
Has some outdoor seating (limited), which is a plus. Also has tasty Indian cuisine.

6. Seva - 314 E. Liberty Street
Is a vegetarian restaurant that has been around since the 70's.

7. Mahek Indian Cuisine - 212 E. Washington
Sorry for the Indian food bias, but it’s my favorite.

8. Saigon Garden - 1220 S. University Ave
Great Chinese and Vietnamese food at good prices.

9. Raja Rani - 400 S. Division Street
More yummy Indian food.

10. Za’s - 615 E. University Ave
This is basically on the list because of its convenient location across the street from the School of Education (SOE). I’m a fan of their custom salads.

Los Amigos - 2851 E. Michigan Ave (Ypsilanti)
I have yet to find good authentic Mexican food in Ann Arbor, so the drive out to Ypsilanti is worth it to satisfy a Mexican food craving.

Temptations - 2876 Washtenaw Ave
Also has tasty Indian food.

Pancheros - 1208 S. University Ave
Is also convenient to the SOE. They make their burrito shells right in front of you and they are delicious.

Pizza House - 618 Church Street
Not a good place for the indecisive as the menu is quite large. Is also convenient to the SOE.
